Ivywood Academy in Snellville, GA is looking for a passionate and driven Director to lead our team and inspire excellence every day. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily academy operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment
- Lead, mentor, and manage faculty and staff to drive performance and professional growth
- Develop and implement curriculum standards, educational programs, and school policies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, families, and the local community
- Monitor student enrollment, retention, and academic progress to meet institutional goals
- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and regulations
- Manage budgets, resources, and administrative functions to support academy success
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Prior experience in a Director, Assistant Director, or school leadership role
- Knowledge of Georgia childcare licensing regulations and educational compliance standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff, budgets, and operational workflows
- Passion for child development, education, and community engagement
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
